Question 1

How long does shipping take?

Accepted Answer

Beth hand-selects each item. Supplier partners ship orders in 3–4 business days. Transit times vary by item and destination. Tracking is emailed when your order ships.

Question 2

Is shipping free?

Accepted Answer

Free standard shipping on US orders over $50. Orders under $50 are shipped at a flat rate calculated at checkout.

Question 3

Do you ship outside the United States?

Accepted Answer

Right now we ship within the US only. We hope to open international shipping soon — sign up for our letters and we'll let you know first.

Question 4

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

A tracking link is included in your shipping confirmation email. If you can't find it, write to us at info@southernserenity.shop or call 256-434-1925 and we'll send it along.

Question 5

What's your return policy?

Accepted Answer

We offer 30 days for eligible returns. Items should come back in original condition, return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and hygiene exceptions are listed in our Refund Policy.

Question 6

How do I start a return?

Accepted Answer

Email info@southernserenity.shop with your order number and a quick note about what's coming back. We'll send return instructions within one business day.

Question 7

Are there items that can't be returned?

Accepted Answer

For hygiene reasons, opened beauty products and pierced earrings are final sale. Everything else is eligible for return within 30 days in original condition.

Question 8

How do I care for shell and pearl jewelry?

Accepted Answer

Put it on last and take it off first — perfume, sunscreen, and chlorine dull the luster of natural shell and pearl faster than anything else. Wipe with a soft cloth after wear, store flat in a soft pouch, and skip ultrasonic cleaners and silver dips.

Question 9

How do I care for gold-plated pieces?

Accepted Answer

Avoid water, lotion, and perfume on the metal. Store in a dry pouch away from other jewelry to prevent scratching. With gentle care, plating lasts for years.

Question 10

Can I shower or swim in my jewelry?

Accepted Answer

We recommend taking jewelry off before showering or swimming. Chlorine, salt water, and even daily shower products shorten the life of plating and natural materials.

Question 11

What length necklace should I order?

Accepted Answer

A 16-inch chain sits at the collarbone; 18 inches falls just below; 22–24 inches lands at the bust line and is ideal for layering. Most of our chains are 16–18 inches for everyday wear.

Question 12

Do you offer different sizes for clothing?

Accepted Answer

Each seasonal wear piece lists size options on its product page. If you're between sizes or unsure, email us — we're happy to help you pick.

Question 13

Where are you located?

Accepted Answer

We're a family-run online boutique based in Athens, Alabama. Owner Beth Fletcher can be reached at info@southernserenity.shop or 256-434-1925.

Question 14

Are the products tested by you?

Accepted Answer

We carefully research and source each item, focusing on quality materials, thoughtful design, and real customer feedback. While our growing collection means we can't personally try every piece, we only stock items we'd confidently recommend to a friend.

Question 15

Can I bundle items and save?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we've put together a few favorite rituals at a gentle discount. You'll see them on the homepage and at the bottom of each product page.

Question 16

Do you offer a discount for new customers?

Accepted Answer

Yes — sign up for our letters and use code WELCOME15 for 15% off your first order over $75.
